I am known as “BikerJim” and “The Biker Who Buys Houses”.  I am a Full time Real Estate Investor, Author, Teacher andmentor.   I also ride motorcycles, hence the Biker thing.  At this time, I’m in my early 40’s, married with two teenage children.

Prior to becoming an investor, I worked in Law Enforcement andCorrections in my home state of Illinois. I worked for my local Sheriff’s office for nearly a decade, living paycheck to paycheck, with heavy credit card debts.

My job, while exciting at times, was VERY stressful, and frankly, kind of boring.  It never really challenged my mind or provided the lifestyle I felt my family deserved.

After studying Real Estate investing in courses, books, and online, I completed my first investment transaction in 1998.

With that single transaction I was able to bring in more money than THREE MONTHS worth of my Sheriff’s Office salary.

From that point I was hooked on investing, and quit my job to become a full time investor. That was 11 years ago, and I am happy to report, I’ve been happily unemployed ever since. I’ve also relocated to sunny Florida where I live in paradise.  Great weather and year round riding!  The beaches here ROCK!

Anyway…

The economy now is much different than it was back when I started investing. Times are tight for those working jobs.

For those who are willing to work for themselves, the timing is right to become wealthy.  This market is the perfect storm for investors with the will, and creativity to set themselves up with a secure financial future.
